This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Bodensee is a bushy compact deciduous shrub with ovate mid green leaves and large rounded clusters of blue Mop head flowers in summer. Needs acid soil for blue flowers.  Flowers will be pink on neutral or alkaline soil types.

Eventual height up to 1.5 metres.
