This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Magical Bolero is a compact variety with strong stems of dark green leaves. Very hard bright red mop head flowers from June onwards turning to a rich green with hints of red in autumn. Flower colour is dependent upon soil type flowers will be purple red on acid soils. This variety is one of the most reliable red flowering hydrangeas for holding the bright red flower colour. Part shade.
