This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea serrata Veerle is a compact dense deciduous shrub with dark green leaves turning beautiful colours of red and orange in autumn. Produces beautiful flat blue violet sterile edged lace-cap flowers from July to September.
