Hydrangea serrata
This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.
Hydrangea serrata subs. yezoensis is a small compact deciduous shrub with broadly ovate toothed mid green leaves turning to a soft bronze. Produces pale pink or blue flat lace-cap serrated edged flowers in summer. Flower colour will vary according to soil type.
