This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea serrata Blue Deckle is a lace-cap Hydrangea prolific flowering from June-July persisting until September with bright blue flowers turn sea green with lilac reverse in autumn. Leaves turn red in autumn.
