Hydrangea serrata
This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.
Hydrangea serrata Blue Bird is a deciduous, medium sized shrub with dark green leaves turning red in autumn. Lace-cap flower heads with deep blue fertile flowers surrounded by pale blue or pale pink florets in summer. Prefers well drained humus rich soil in sun to partial shade with shelter from strong winds.
Eventual height and spread up to 2 metres.
