This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.
Mountain Hydrangea
Hydrangea serrata Blue Billow is a compact hardy shrub with ovate green leaves turning to burgundy shades in autumn. Delicate clusters of light blue flowers from early summer June July ageing to deep crimson as the season continues. Flowers on old wood and was found growing on the Korean Mountains hence being very hardy. Suitable for partial shade or full shade conditions.
Eventual height up to 1.2 metres.
