This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea quercifolia Snow Giant  - Oak leaved Hydrangea Snow Giant is a deciduous shrub with oak shaped dark green leaves colouring to deep bronze red during autumn. Dense panicles of double white flowers similar to that of Snow Queen from July to August. In autumn flowers turn crimson red. Hardy. Suitable for planting in part shade conditions.
