This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea quercifolia Back Porch is a deciduous shrub with mid green oak shaped leaves turning bronze-red in autumn before falling. Produces creamy white showy cone shaped flower heads throughout the summer. Prefers a well drained humus rich soil in sun to part shade.
