This Hydrangea paniculata is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season in early autumn it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring from April.

Hydrangea paniculata Polestar or Switch Ophelia is a very compact hardy, and early flowering paniculata. Usually showing flower buds from end of May /June then starting to flower by end of June /July. The flowers open greenish white then turn pink or salmon coloured and by September change to dark pink almost red. Full sun or part shade conditions. Flowers much earlier than other paniculata varieties. Hardy to -30°c
Eventual height and spread up to 0.6 metres.
