Living Creations paniculata
This Hydrangea paniculata is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season in early autumn it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring from April.
Hydrangea paniculata Living Red Velvet has strong branches of very dark green leaves and big beautiful flowers in summer which bloom profusely. The large panicles of flowers open cream in July then change to white cream in August becoming a very deep pink in September.
Winter hardy to -30°c. Holds flowers for 100 days. Plant in fll sun or part shade conditions for beautiful colours. Flowers can be kept on plant over winter. Prune in early spring.
Eventual height up to 1.2 metres with a spread of up to 1 metre.
