Hydrangea macrophylla
This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.
Hydrangea macrophylla Valvert is a bushy mop head variety with strong stems of green leaves. Large ball shaped mop head flowers opening green in summer changing to blue streaked green. Then finally turning to red green shades in autumn. Flower colour is dependent upon soil type flowers will be pink streaked green on alkaline and neutral soils. Part shade with morning sun only.
Eventual height up to 0.8 -1.2 metres.
