This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.
Hydrangea macrophylla Taube is a fast growing deciduous shrub with broadly ovate dark green leaves. Produces long lasting flat rose lace cap flowers in summer which change colour as the bloom ages. Flower colour will vary with soil type. Flowers will be a blue violet colour on acid soil types.
