This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Stargazer is a lace-cap hydrangea with green toothed leaves. Produces large double flowers with pink centres edged white in summer on both new and old wood. Flower colour is dependent upon soil pH. Blue flowers in acid soil and pink in neutral to alkaline soil.
