Hydrangea macrophylla
This Hydrangea is a deciduous plants os during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.
Hydrangea macrophylla So Long Ebony is a vigorous mop head hydrangea with light green leaves in summer becoming yellow in autumn. Strong black to almost black stems of long lasting blue or pink flowers depending upon soil pH in summer. Flowers slowly turn green splattered cream with age and as the season continues. A re flowering variety flowering on the current years growth usually unaffected by any late spring frosts. Flowers will be blue on acid soil types and pink on alkaline or neutral soil types.
