This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Snowball or Schneeball is a bushy, compact deciduous shrub with ovate toothed veined dark green leaves. During the summer large rounded clusters of white mop head flowers on strong stems are produced.
