This Hydrangea is plant is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Saskia is a bushy deciduous shrub with ovate red leaves when young turning deep green. Produces clusters of deep red mop head flowers with an orangey white centre gradually turning deep red from summer to autumn. Part of the Dutch Ladies Series.
