This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Royal Red Blue is medium sized compact strong growing deciduous shrub with medium green leaves. Produces dark purple Mop head flowers in summer with excellent branching. Flower colour may vary with soil type.
