This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Renate Steiniger is a blue flowering Hydrangea with green leaves flowering from mid to late summer. Prefers a full sun position and soil acid will swing the flower colour to lilac and pink. Pink flowers in alkaline soil.
