Hydrangea macrophylla
This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season in early autumn it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring from April.
Hydrangea macrophylla Rembrandt Dolce Chic Blue has a compact growth habit with firm flowers on sturdy stems changing colour throughout the season. The dark blue mop head flowers open in summer with yellow at the centre becoming more and more blue as the season continues. Suitable for part shade or full shade conditions. Good to use as cut flowers. Can be planted 70 to 90cm apart. Flower colour will vary with soil type and soil acidity flowers will be pink on neutral to alkaline soil types.
Eventual height up to 1 metre.
