This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Red Beauty is a compact medium sized deciduous Mop head variety with shiny green leaves. Produces bright red medium sized Mop head flowers in summer on strong stems. Flowers can be bluer on acid soil types.

Eventual height up to 1.2 metres with a spread of up to 1.3 metres.
