Hydrangea macrophylla
This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.
Hydrangea macrophylla Red Angel Purple is a bushy upright deciduous shrub with large round deep red to purple mop head flowers in summer. The deep red to purple flowers are shown in contrast as they are held over beautiful dark green leaves. The young leaves have a lovely dark coppery colour. Needs acid compost to keep flower colour to purple.
