Hydrangea macrophylla
This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.
Hydrangea macrophylla Rathen is a bushy mop head hydrangea with shiny green leaves flowering on base buds. Produces balls of Mop head flowers from July to September opening blue on acid soil and pink on alkaline soil types. Suitable for planting in part shade conditions.
Eventual height up to 0.8 to 1.2 metres.
