This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Magical Amethyst Blue is a deciduous shrub with oval green leaves. Produces large balls of spectacular flowers green with bluish purple spots to a deep green from July to September. Can be planted in full sun or part shade conditions.
