This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Libelle is a deciduous, medium sized shrub with large ovate dark green leaves and serrated margins. Produces white lace cap flowers with pink or blue centres depending upon soil type in mid to late summer. Prefers well drained humus rich soil in sun to partial shade.
