This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Kardinal Lilac is a deciduous, upright shrub with ovate, serrated green leaves. Produces lace-cap flowers with vivid purple blue outer florets and inside a mixture of smaller lilac blue in late summer. Bushy habit. Grow in acid soil.
