This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.
Hydrangea macrophylla Julisa is a new variety with very bright coloured flowers with an upright bushy growth habit and well branched sturdy stems. The young leaves open purple in spring turning to dark green in summer and light red in autumn. Produces bright carmine red balls of Mop head flowers in summer from July to September.
Eventual height up to 0.8 to 1.2 metres.
