This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macropylla Izu-no-hana is a rounded small or medium sized deciduous shrub with dark green leaves. Beautiful flattened lace cap pale pink or blue flowers depending upon soil pH with white florets around edge of main flower head in summer. Hardy. Full sun or part shade conditions.
Eventual height and spread up to 2 metres.
