This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Hercule Poirot is a deciduous shrub with broadly ovate pointed green leaves. Produces sepals that are concave usually pink in colour and on acid soils produce many blue flowers during the summer.
