Hydrangea macrophylla
This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.
Hydrangea macrophylla Geoffrey Chadbund is an upright bushy spreading shrub with light green leaves. Produces lovely broad flat lace cap flower heads of bright rose to deep pink in alkaline and neutral soils. Flowers will be red to red purple in acid soils. Flowering from early summer to autumn.
Eventual height up to 1.5 metres with a spread of up to 2 metres.
