This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Dolce Gipsy  is a compact medium sized shrub with young purple leaves turning dark green then purple in autumn. Flattened lace cap flowers of large sterile white flowers then pale pink turning deeper pink surrounding the bright pink fertile flowers in summer from July to Sept. Part shade conditions.

Eventual height and spread  up to 1.2 metres.
