This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Dark Angel Purple is a lovely lace cap hydrangea with beautiful dark copper foliage which keeps its colour well through the season. The flat lace cap flowers open purple mauve shades in summer darkening with age. Needs acid compost and to be treated to keep purple mauve shades. Part shade or full shade only. 

Eventual height and spread up to 1.2 metres.
