This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Curly Wurly is a compact busy deciduous shrub with dark green leaves. Produces eye catching curly blue flowers in summer through to autumn from June to September. Flower colour will be pink on neutral to alkaline soils. Suitable for full sun or part shade conditions.
