This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Cameroun is a compact bushy deciduous shrub with dark green ovate pointed leaves. Produces large rounded balls of single blue flowers continuously from June to the frosts. Repeat flowering variety. Flowers are blue in acid soils and pink in neutral to alkaline soils.
