This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Blaumeise is a deciduous shrub with bright green ovate serrated edged leaves. Produces large flat wide lace-cap deep blue to indigo sterile florets surrounding tiny even deeper blue flowers in summer to autumn. Green leaves change colour through autumn.
