This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.

Hydrangea macrophylla Blauling is a deciduous upright shrub with broadly ovate serrated edged dark green leaves. During the summer large flattened bright blue long lasting lace-cap flowers appear on long stems.
