This Hydrangea is a deciduous plant so during the dormant season autumn winter it will lose all its leaves shooting new growth in the spring.
Hydrangea macrophylla Ayesha is a medium sized deciduous shrub with broad ovate dark green leaves. Produces large clusters of small lilac-pink cupped mop-head flowers in Summer. Prefers well drained humus rich soil in sun to partial shade with shelter from strong winds.
Eventual height up to 1.5 metres and spread up to 2 metres.
